Overall the hotel is superb and the customer service amongst the best we have received anywhere in the world. However you need to be aware that this is no normal hotel. Breakfast is delivered to your room as there is no restaurant and you have no choice when ordering - but you don't need a choice. The selection they bring you is different each day and certainly more than we could eat.  Also, as there is no restaurant, you have to go to the town for lunch or dinner BUT they do have an excellent food delivery service so you can order from a large variety of restaurants and eat in your room. We were only in Chania for one night, and although this hotel is a little out of the way from town (maybe a 10 minute drive), it is worth a relaxing stay. We loved the balcony with lounge chairs and a table set with two chairs. The pool was very cold, but on a hot sunny day, we didn't mind. There is a grocery store about a 10 minute walk away. There is a parking garage on site (included) and we drove into Chania town for dinner.
